BCR worked with the National Education Association to defeat legislation to establish tuition vouchers for private schools in Pennsylvania and Connecticut.

In Arkansas, we helped the Arkansas Education Association convince the governor and legislature to approve raises for public school teachers.

BCR worked with Amalgamated Transit Union Locals #589 in Boston and #689 in Washington, D.C. to defeat mass transit privatization proposals.

In Massachusetts, we helped a coalition of unions including SEIU and AFSCME lobby successfully for pay increases for state employees.
